Trail Preservation and Helping Out

Keeping trails for the future

Clean, Safe & Open

Now that you know what off-roading is, how to stay safe, and how to respect nature, it’s time to learn how explorers help preserve trails. Trail preservation means keeping trails clean, safe, and open for everyone to enjoy. Even though you’re still young, there are LOTS of ways you can make a difference:

trash bag

Bring a small trash bag and pick up litter.

tell the grown ups

Remind your family and friends to stay on the trail.

work as a group

Join a cleanup day with your school or community.

enjoy through images

Celebrate nature — take photos instead of taking rocks, plants, or flowers.

Why it Matters

When trails are damaged, closed, or full of trash, they stop being fun for everyone. By helping care for the trails, you make sure future explorers — maybe even your little brother or sister — get to enjoy them too.

Rumble the Rig’s Tip 🚙

“Every explorer is a hero! Picking up one piece of trash or reminding a friend to buckle up helps keep the adventure alive.”
